Why ten hours
This is not an arbitrary number. In Queensland the logbook bonus applies to your first 10 instructor hours and no further. Ten hours with an accredited instructor records as 30 hours of supervised driving, which leaves 70 to do with a parent or supervisor.
Buy fewer than ten and you leave bonus hours on the table. Buy more and the extra hours count one-for-one, same as driving with your mum.

How the credit works
Ten hours sit on your account. Book them in 60, 90 or 120 minute blocks, in any combination, whenever it suits you. Credit is valid for 12 months from purchase.
